Tactical thinking vs. Strategic thinking

Strategy is the goal, tactics are the steps

I like to think of strategy as "where you want to go" and tactics as "how you're going to get there"..

 I talked about the difference between Tactical thinking and Strategic thinking. In a nutshell, Tactical thinking is “doing things right,” while Strategic thinking is “doing the right things.” Strategic thinking is typically leadership: creating the vision. Whereas Tactical thinking is management: implementing the vision.
